Good to know
We clean; we don’t check on empty homes between visits. For regular checks while you’re away, use a home-watch company. Our free snowbird checklist covers the closing steps University of Florida extension agents recommend.
Snowbird open & close: questions
Do I need to be there?
No. Most snowbirds use a lockbox. We agree on access in writing and text you photos when we’re done.
Can you book my closing at the same time?
Yes. Book the spring closing when we do the fall opening, and we’ll hold the weekend.
Do you check on the house while I’m gone?
No, that’s home-watch. We’re happy to recommend you ask a local home-watch company.
Can you do laundry?
Yes, $20 a load on site.
